The artist manages to actually make an inner voyage back HOME.
I am a multidisciplinary artist and all my frameworks have the stateddesire to awaken the heart of the spectator.
I feel spiritually committed to the task of awakening the inner self.
My latest work deals with the idea of repetition, using writing, fabric and household goods which are easily recognizable by everyone.
References to our HOME as a spiritual abode and meditation are common in my work. We find ourselves amidst a safe and familiar environment, which we all readily identify regardless of our age, background or external conditionings. HOME soothes our growth.
I am interested in observing what implications of feeling at ease at HOME, slowly opening the windows so as to allow more and more light to trickle into our feelings, thoughts and actions. We grow together through small chores.
This is something immediately obvious to children.
